GM Segway: The future of the automobile, really?

Author: Ok what planet are we on? Yea that’s the one, the one that uses CARS to get around. What was General Motors thinking when they agreed to the Segway deal? The launch of this joint venture couldn’t have come at a better time. The same day that GM is being told to structure for bankruptcy they launch a vehicle that is so at odds with the rest of the planet. They simply don’t have a clue what to do or when to do it. In contrast the Tata nano was launched earlier with a huge positive interest. This is a vehicle that is well targeted at a sector of the public who needs, wants and desires such a product. Who wants this bustardized Seqway thing?
General Motors is in serious financial trouble and the best they can do is launch something that is so radical and outrageous. Don’t spend another dime on GM’s and bail them out. Take the money and invest in Segway apparently they are the future in the big 3!

GM and the other ‘big 3′ have simply lost touch with the marketplace. Now we the people are forced to help bail them out.
Make cars people want and built right. Then we will buy!
